Masonry is the construction of a structure using stone and mortar. Some of the most commonly used building materials used in masonry include brick, marble, granite. concrete block, tile and stone.

BRICK: Resistant to fire damage. Brick provides wind resistance and moisture control. Also energy efficient by providing added insulation.

 

 

 

STUCCO: A building material that is highly durable and like brick and stone is resistant to damage.

 

 

 

STONE: Similar to brick. Stone is durable, fireproof, bug proof, and moisture free. Well built stone structures can stand for centuries. Stone is very attractive maintenance free and offers endless appearance options to the builders imagination.

 

 

CONCRETE: Due to the size and density of concrete block, walls can be built very quickly. If filled with concrete, blocks can offer a high insulation factor which makes for reduced utility costs in homes and offices.
